It's after the Christmas party. All twenty one of us pack up our bags are ready ourselves. We are not heading back home but instead, going to the place where we fear most.
"Come on! It's going to start in one hour's time!" shouted Big T, the leader.
We started to move nosily like how a class moves past a corridor. The nerd in our group whipped out an Additional Mathematics textbook from his bag and started to flip through the book frantically.
"What's there to worry? Are you sure it's going to happen? I mean, look at the time already. It is night time. Will the school be open at this time?" Someone said.
It is night time close to eleven. Half of our class are making our way back to school and the other half (they did not attend the party) are making their way there on their own. We are going to have a A. Maths class test.
There will only be us in the school, the teacher told us. I don't know why the teacher decided to hold a test in the middle of the night at school but I sure know she must hate us to the core.
We are in the classroom now. It is all dark and gloomy. The teacher forbidded us to tur on the lights and fans.
"How do we do our test in such condition?"
"Use your senses." The teacher replied.
She began to hand out the papers.
"Fifteen minutes only, those who fail this test will get it hard from me."
The test began.
I could not make out what was on the paper. So I started to feel the paper. To my surprise, I could suddenly see the image of the test in my brain. It was on quadratic and cubic equations. I started doing the paper as quickly as I could.
"Times up! Hand in your paper. Stay in your seat and make no noise whilI mark the papers."
Everything was silent as the teacher started to mark the papers in the darkness.
"The results are out." The teacher paused for dramatic effects, which she succeeded for everyone shifted uncomfortably in their chairs.
"Everyone failed."
I woke up, from the nightmare.
