1. Research has shown that chocolate has the ability to make us happy. Chocolate contains a chemical called phenylethylamine. This, in addition to the sugar, fat and caffeine found in chocolate has been shown to release serotonin and endorphins - two known chemicals that make us feel happy.
2. The colour purple has always been associated with royalty since the Roman era. This is because only the most expensive dyes were used to produce purple clothes then. Thus, the colour has always been linked to wealth and power.
3. Jeff Levinton, a marine biology professor, insists that if you do not take a high school physics course you will regret it once you are in college. The same, he says, is true of calculus.
