Today I got married. I saw her there and I couldn't take my eyes off her and the next moment, the question just came out of my mouth.
And she said "yes".
We decided to get married four years from now. Our educational committments were too great to risk for marriage. Her name, well I shall not mention her name, she made me promised not to either.
It was not a romantic proposal. Just her and me standing there in the sunset by the seaside. Ring? Of course there is a ring. It was a huge and heavy ring with ten thousand diamonds on it. What makes you think she would agree to marry me?
And so we sat down and talked. How many kids shall we have. How much money are we going to earn. How are we going to hide our private bank account books. Which part of the house we shall hide our secret stash of biscuit tin money. What type of house we shall have.
Funny thing is, she said she is willing to live in small one room flat. I am thankful I speak a little of Womish, the language spoken world wide by women. And so I told her of course I will buy her a big house and will drive her around. Everywhere she goes.
I held her hands and ran to ROM. I have no idea what it means. There's MOE, MOE, MOM and many many other acronymns but I have no idea what they mean. I held her hands tightly and said to the auntie sitting there at the counter, "Hi, we are here to register our marriage".
"Level 2 turn right."
And so we went and we got married.
